Welcome,

I’m Kirsten

I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve found me, chances are you might be struggling—whether it’s in a current relationship, going through a painful separation, recovering from toxic dynamics, or simply feeling fed up with the loneliness of being single. No matter where you are right now, you’re not alone. The fact that you’re here means there’s every reason to be optimistic.

Relationships can sometimes feel hopeless, especially if you’ve experienced the same patterns repeatedly. But with the right support, everything can change. I’ve seen it happen time and again in my 10 years as a children’s mentor and relationship coach. I’ve watched hundreds of individuals transform toxic, pervasive patterns and go on to build healthy, thriving, long lasting relationships.

I'd love to show you a new way of doing things.

Many of my clients have tried it all—psychotherapy, various workshops, self-help books, personal development courses—and while they've gained lots of insights, it hasn’t really made a difference. Why? Because somewhere along the way, we defaulted to an attachment style that unconsciously creates unhealthy dynamics, toxic patterns, and a lifetime of unhappiness in relationships.

But changing your attachment style isn’t rocket science; it’s simply about addressing missing development. Once we learn to become conscious of our patterns and acquire the skills we missed growing up, we gain the ability to attract, create, and sustain happy and healthy relationships in ways we never thought possible.

My work is a deeply transformative combination of cognitive-behavioural and somatic psychology,  drawing upon a range of modalities including Gestalt, attachment theory and mindfulness.

I’m trained and certified in both of Katherine Woodward Thomas’ highly accredited relationship programs: Conscious Uncoupling and Calling in “The One” and by integrating a range of methods and approaches,  I can tailor our sessions to work around your specific needs. Typically, my approach is short-term, offering ten sessions in the first instance, then we would review where you are in relation to your goals.

My philosophy is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it’s designed specifically for you.

Here's what you need to know

This is a safe space.

Relationships can bring out the worst in us, and too often we become consumed with guilt and shame, which only serve to keep us stuck in old patterns.

Please know there is absolutely no judgement here.

No matter how messy things may be now, we’ll get through it with lots of compassion, down to earth wisdom and a healthy dose of humour.

I’m right beside you.

One last thing…

“The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help.”

Credentials

  • Kirsten was a gentle, kind and thoughtful voice that guided me through this process of transition in becoming the woman I aspire to be and to walk towards my dreams. She challenged me at times with powerful questions, and was very supportive when sessions were slightly more challenging. Above all, Kirsten was always there, cheering me on when I achieved a milestone or had an AHa moment. I feel that I have more practical tools to use on a daily basis, according to my own needs and personal story.

  • Kirsten provided a safe space whilst coaching me through the Conscious Uncoupling Programme, supporting me to process a difficult break up on a deeper level and in a more constructive way. I feel so much better for working through the five steps with Kirsten, as she skillfully helped me to navigate through overwhelming emotions and guided me to a place of clarity and peace. Since completing the programme, life has improved and co-parenting with my ex partner has become more harmonious. For the first time in ages, I feel empowered and hopeful about the next chapter of my life. Kirsten's pearls of wisdom continue to have a positive impact on my life and I can't thank her enough for the support and guidance she has provided.

  • Before working with Kirsten I had just left unhappy and abusive marriage. I felt lost and desperate, tired from working full time and being and single mum and unsure if I could ever trust myself to enter into another relationship again without the old patterns repeating themselves. In working with Kirsten I found a new found confidence. I was able to realise and challenge old limiting beliefs that had led me down a destructive path in relationships and could finally unpick the reasons why I stayed in an abusive marriage for far too long. Through the process I discovered a new found confidence and I began to trust myself again. I have since started a new relationship which is happy, healthy and beyond anything that I have experienced in the past. I can’t thank her enough.

  • Working with you has been the most extraordinary experience. Your coaching has completely changed my life. I’ve founded new relationships based on respect, trust and deep love and I’m happier than I’ve ever been before. In the last year I’ve started a new romantic relationship which is so different to the ones I’ve had before. It feels happy, healthy and safe, and more importantly I finally have a positive relationship with myself which has given me a greater peace than ever before.

  • I recently completed the Conscious Uncoupling program with Kirsten, who came highly recommended to me. Kirsten provided compassionate and insightful support that helped me navigate the complexities of ending a relationship while maintaining dignity and respect for both myself and my partner. Kirsten's ability to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment allowed me to explore and address deep-seated issues, ultimately leading to a more empowered and self-affirmed mindset. Kirsten's professionalism, empathy, and dedication were instrumental in helping me achieve meaningful personal growth. I highly recommend Kirsten to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate coach to guide them through relationship transitions and personal development.

  • Kirsten is an incredible listener, very intuitive and I felt very held and safe in her hands. Since losing my husband I found it difficult to imagine a new life that brought as much joy as the one I had before but with Kirsten’s gentle and empathetic approach I now feel excited about the new opportunities that are coming my way. I can finally see a way through and the possibility of a life that can bring equal, if not even better treasures, than the one I had before. I loved coaching with Kirsten and loved the weekly sessions that we had and now feel excited and emboldened about my future.

  • Kirsten is an attentive and compassionate listener. She has a beautiful way of extending her heart and this was a profound and healing coaching experience for me. I loved that she took comprehensive notes and made summaries of the lessons so that I was able to process my discoveries in greater depth. She knew intuitively what I needed at the beginning of each sessions and I gained a deeper clarity on the path I want my life to take and the relationships I want in it. Thank you so much.
